Hi,
I am Aman, and this safe space is where I am most raw with my thoughts, hop on if you'd like to interact with them :))
This is probably going to be a short one, 2023 was a stable year, working at a high intensity early stage startup you take home the realisation that time in your mid 20's is truly a luxury.
2023 was about personal introspection and discovery and I think i did a good enough job of knowing what I want by writing it out loud.
2023 was a good year for my personal learning, hope it continues this year.
2023 was apparently also the year when I expressed some of my theses:
Gated societies as an economic model:[WIP]
I may be wrong with these but who cares? Opinions are worth a dime!
2023 was about rediscovering engineering in a lot of ways and going deep down into some interesting rabbit holes.
Even though I took some time to look back: Jan-Feb-March: Summed Up
I still think about Catching Ambition.
2023 was about tinkering with tools.
I think I have reached a point where I have been gravitating more towards difficult challenges, all thanks to Isaacson for such a great biography. There are few books who can change the way you think and make you more ambitious and I think this book did the job exceptionally well.
2023 started with classics and was a whole new roller coaster in all aspects: Open Source Content Consumption.
While we may be over ambitious sometimes, I released it's always better to be wrong/realising something is not for you rather than not taking the shot.
2023 was the year I realised it's not black or white, it's both,
so to all of you Cal Newport and David Epstein fans, I'd like to say that it's a bit of both.
2023 was a bittersweet relationship with work but at one point I realised what I wanted and it all makes sense
Hopeful state is a happy state - Aman
Few things
see you around ;)
